Durham Cathedral Graveyard, Durham, England

The churchyard outside Durham Cathedral in Durham, England gives us a glimpse into what most church burial grounds once looked like in the United Kingdom and in much of North America at one time.




William Pearson, 1759-1828

Haslewood

"Erected to the memory of The Reverend Dickens Haslewood A.M. who died Oct. 3rd 1821 aged 61 years. Also of Elisabeth, wife of Dickens Haslewood, who died July 1st 1825, aged 65 years.


If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
